As a ballet and contemporary dancer, Masami's repertoire includes: Clara and the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, Princess Aurora and Princess Florine in The Sleeping Beauty, Princess in Dragon Quest by Minoru Suzuki, Giselle in Giselle, William Forsythe’s Approximate Sonata and Impressing the Czar, Nacho Duato’s Na Floresta, Felix Ruckert’s Tokyo Tools, Yasuyuki Endo’s Love Love Robot, Yasutake Shimaji’s Gnocchi, August Bournonville’s La Sylphide 


Independent choreographed pieces performed in Japan, Germany and Mexico include: Isolated Mirror, 4 Thoughts on Navel, A Butterfly’s Dream, Libertango, KleenexItsuki’s Lullaby, Dochodze/Reaching for Perfection, White Lies, Unuselessness, Can You Fight for 20 Hours?, Pa pa?!, Texture  

1995
Joined the China National Shanghai Dance School (上海市舞蹈学校)

1999 
Joined the Star Dancers Ballet company in Tokyo, and was promoted to soloist when dancing the principal role in Jerome Robbins’ “Afternoon of a Faun”

2007
Chosen as an International Scholarship Member by the Japanese government and studied at the Royal Ballet of Flanders in Antwerp, Belgium
 

2012
Began work at Nordharzer Theater in Halberstadt, Germany
